Acknowledgements – 21 Success Sutras for Leaders

Writing a book is never a solo project. I am deeply indebted to many people whose expertise, wisdom and encouragement kept me going. My wife and children’s (Ganesh Sai and Ramakrishna Sayee) encouragement and sacrifices made this book possible, and for that I am forever thankful. My wife, Padmavathy, is a symbol of sacrifice and support for my books, and is also an immeasurable blessing in my life.

Several quotes, examples and anecdotes are the result of a collection from different sources. It is practically impossible to acknowledge each one of them separately. I have tried to give credit wherever it is due; however, in case I have missed anything, I will give due credit in future editions if it is brought to my notice.

I thank everyone, including the team at Pearson Education, for the publication of this book. I specifically thank Saumya Chawla, Assistant Acquisition Editor, and Proteeti Banerjee, Development Editor, for their positive and proactive attitude in the publication of this book.

I express special thanks to all the readers who graciously took time off from their busy schedules to write to me and share their views, and offer feedback on my books Secrets of Your Leadership Success: The 11 Indispensable E’s of a Leader; Soft Leadership: Make Others Feel More Important; Smart Leadership: Lessons for Leaders; Stand Out! Build a Successful Career and Become a Global Leader; Sharpen Your Mind: Acquire Tools to Achieve Your Success; Spirit of Indian Youth: Soft Skills for Young Managers; Smartness Guide: Success Tools for Students; Spot Your Leadership Style: Build Your Leadership Brand; Secrets for Success: Failure is only a Comma, Not a Full Stop; Soft Skills: Enhancing Employability; and Soft Skills for Students: Classroom to Corporate.
